Helminths and helminthoses of the dromedary. A review of the literature

چکیده
In another review of the literature on the helminth parasites of camels, El Bihari (71) gave a list of species encountered frequently and their pathogenic effects, together with a list of those encountered occasionally. We are aware of 30 species not men tioned by this author , who provided no information on the geographical distribution of species. It is our purpose here to present a more complete list of parasitic species together with their broad geographical distribution, pathogenic effects and the principal control measures which can be recommended.
